Mark your calendars to join members of the Coalition on Diversity and Equity (CoDE) who will hold the annual Juneteenth celebration at St. Peter’s.  The day begins with worship at 10am one service and starts of summer schedule.  The highlights will be the descendants of the enslaved members of the Peters family who will lead worship in the church including music. We will all process out of the church to the memorial garden where we will dedicate a memorial stone “In Memory of all Enslaved Persons in our Community.”  Following the dedication the Juneteenth festival will be held in the parish hall until 2pm featuring music, poetry, and the story of the Peters family acted out by the descendants.  Instead of regular coffee hours, all will be treated to free lunch, coffee of course and other beverages.  So, mark your calendar and plan to join us to celebrate this National Holiday.    All of us can help spread the word by posting this link on your Facebook page or other social media: https://code-diversity.org/2025/05/06/juneteenth-celebration-in-hebron/
