Led by Deacon Donna Gray, the Book Club will be reading and discussing: “Proof of Heaven” A Neurosurgeon’s Journey into the Afterlife by Eben Alexander M.D. The club will meet on Mondays from Sept 14 – Nov 23 from 11:30am – 1:00pm, with the exception of Oct 12, Indigenous People’s Day.
Eben Alexander III (born December 11, 1953) is an American neurosurgeon. Proof of Heaven describes his 2008 near-death experience and asserts that science can and will determine that the brain does not create consciousness and that consciousness survives bodily death.
